Female peacocks are believed to choose their mates according to the size, colour, and quality of their outrageous feather trains.

A male peacock attracts a mate by displaying it’s enormous colourful tail feathers. Females generally choose the male whose tail is biggest and has the most eyespots. If only a company logo could attract customers that easily, but the fact is there is so much more a logo needs to be, to attract customers, than a colourful and appealing graphic. It isn’t something cold and impersonal you can buy off a shelf, ready-made. A logo is at the heart of your identity. It is unique to you, like a fingerprint, your fingerprint. It should identify you and set you apart at the same time. It should communicate what you most want your customers to know about you, and do so in a manner that is unmistakable. It must transmit your values; exude a feeling of what it’s like to do business with your company; be a preview of great expectations. At least, that’s our expectation.
