A male peacock attracts a mate by displaying it’s enormous colourful tail feathers. Females generally choose the male whose tail is biggest and has the most eyespots. If only a company logo could attract customers that easily, but the fact is there is so much more a logo needs to be, to attract customers, than a colourful and appealing graphic. It isn’t something cold and impersonal you can buy off a shelf, ready-made. A logo is at the heart of your identity. It is unique to you, like a fingerprint, your fingerprint. It should identify you and set you apart at the same time. It should communicate what you most want your customers to know about you, and do so in a manner that is unmistakable. It must transmit your values; exude a feeling of what it’s like to do business with your company; be a preview of great expectations. At least, that’s our expectation.
The process of brand development requires engagement at all levels of your business in order to understand your mission as a company; it involves research into your industry, your business, and the people behind the brand. Because a brand without substance, is worse than no brand at all. Alena will take you through the process of branding or rebranding, and ensure you identify the image that is right for you and your business, and starting with your logo, develop a brand that represents all that you wish to reflect to the public.
